Itinerario
DAY 1: BANGKOK
Arrival in Bangkok, customs clearance, and transfer to the hotel. Free time to explore Thailand’s capital, a vibrant city that blends ancient temples with modern skyscrapers.
DAY 2: BANGKOK
We will take an extensive tour of Bangkok. We will visit the Temple of the Golden Buddha (admission included) and the Golden Mount (admission included)—offering panoramic views of the city from its summit—as well as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha (admission included), home to one of the world’s largest reclining Buddha statues. We will conclude the tour at the Grand Palace (admission included), the former residence of the Kings of Thailand. Inside the palace complex, we will see the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, the most important temple in the country. Afterward, we will cross the Chao Phraya River by ferry to the IconSiam shopping mall. Free time. Return to the hotel on your own.
Note: For the visit to the Grand Palace, you must wear long trousers or a long skirt, and a shirt or T-shirt with long or elbow-length sleeves.
DAY 3: BANGKOK – AYUTTHAYA – PHITSANULOK
Arrival in the city of Ayutthaya, where we will take a walk through the Muslim Quarter, home to a minority community. Next, we will visit the archaeological site (admission included) of this former capital of the Kingdom of Siam. We will see two of its most iconic temples: the imposing Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon and the enigmatic Wat Mahathat, famous for the Buddha head entwined in the roots of a sacred tree. Afterward, we will depart for the north of the country. Lunch at a local restaurant is included. Arrival in Phitsanulok in the mid-afternoon.
DAY 4: PHITSANULOK – SUKHOTHAI – LAMPANG – CHIANG MAI
Early in the morning, those who wish to do so may leave the hotel to make an offering to the monks and experience one of the most important rituals of Buddhist culture firsthand. Afterward, we depart for Sukhothai to visit the archaeological site (admission included), renowned for its incredible beauty and sophisticated temples. We will also visit Wat Si Chum (admission included), home to a massive Buddha statue. Lunch at a local restaurant en route is included. We then head to Lampang to visit one of the country’s most revered wooden temples (admission included). Finally, we arrive in vibrant Chiang Mai. We take a brief panoramic city tour to see the city’s highlights before heading to the hotel. Overnight stay.
DAY 5: CHIANG MAI
We begin the day by visiting two unique mountain temples in Chiang Mai: Wat Pha Lat (admission included), tucked away in the jungle, and the legendary Wat Phra That Doi Suthep (admission included), one of Northern Thailand’s most sacred temples. Afterward, we head north to visit Elephant Eco Valley (admission included) to learn more about the lives of elephants. Lunch at a local restaurant is included. Later, we will have the opportunity to visit a Karen ethnic community—a visit aimed at fostering respect, intercultural understanding, and support for local development. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.
DAY 6: CHIANG MAI – GOLDEN TRIANGLE – CHIANG RAI
Visit the Tweechol Botanical Garden (admission included), an expansive, well-maintained garden featuring a rich variety of tropical plants and an orchid garden. A vehicle tour within the park is included. We continue to the Mae Kachan Hot Springs. Afterward, we stop at the iconic White Temple (admission included); adorned with mirrors, it blends Buddhist symbolism with modern creativity. Lunch at a local restaurant is included. We then head toward the Mekong River, home to the “Golden Triangle”—the border area where Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos meet. We will learn about the local culture and history at the Opium Museum (admission included). Arrival in Chiang Rai in the late afternoon.
DAY 7: CHIANG RAI – BANGKOK
Transfer to the airport for the flight (included) to Bangkok. Upon arrival, enjoy free time in Thailand’s capital before the tour concludes.
DAY 8: BANGKOK
After breakfast, our services come to an end.
